Aicon 3D Completes Acquisition of Breuckmann
BRAUNSCHWEIG, Germany, June 4, 2015 — Optical metrology firm Aicon 3D Systems GmbH has completed the acquisition of scanner manufacturer Breuckmann GmbH of Meersburg. Aicon acquired 100 percent of Breuckmann's shares in 2012 and first continued it as wholly owned subsidiary. Since then, all development, manufacturing, sales and administrative processes were brought together to act as a single unit. The final step was to merge Breuckmann into Aicon. The Breuckmann facility will now be known as Aicon's Scanner Innovation
