The Application Specific Contracts group of Dalsa Corp., which is based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, has received contracts totaling $2.5 million from two clients for the custom development of high-performance electronic cameras. In a project for a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer to be completed in 20 months, Dalsa will produce an image sensor and digital camera to inspect semiconductor wafers at high speeds and low light levels.
