IPG Photonics Posts Q2 Loss

OXFORD, Mass., Aug 5, 2009 – IPG Photonics Corp., a manufacturer of high-power fiber lasers and amplifiers, has reported a revenue decline of 28 percent and a net loss of $1.2 million, or 3 cents a share, for the second quarter of 2009. One year ago, the company posted a profit of $8.6 million, or 19 cents per share.
