Elbit Supplies Israeli Forces with MARS System

Elbit Systems of Haifa, Israel, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Elbit Systems Electro-Optics (Elop) will supply the Israeli defense forces with a light weight thermal imaging and target acquisition system called MARS. This handheld thermal imager operates using uncooled sensor technology and combines a laser range-finder, GPS, compass day channel and recording system.Read full article
