The ATI640 from Lynred is a plug-and-play LWIR thermal imaging module for applications where infrared thermal imaging is required, such as in drones. Using VGA resolution, the module has a 640 × 480 12-µm pixel pitch sensor and is designed with a SWaP-C core for integration into optronic systems. The ATI640 is calibrated to work in shutterless mode to provide an uninterrupted video experience, which also offers increased image quality with no trade-off on SWaP-C requirements. The module also features a 60-Hz frame rate that captures fast moving targets, while producing smooth video footage.
