The S4LFT5650-292 from Sill Optics is a 650-mm scan lens that can be used in additive manufacturing applications. The highly transmissive fused silica lens was designed for green lasers with a wavelength of 532 nm for processing precious materials such as gold and silver. Due to the shorter wavelength of green lasers, the S4LFT5650-292 achieves focus sizes of 32 µm to 38.5 µm in a 410 mm × 410 mm field with an input beam of 20 mm.
