Former Schott executive Gerard Robless was appointed recently to the board of directors at Edmund Optics, the optical components company announced. Robless brings marketing and sales experience in industrial optics, optoelectronics and project display components as well as a network of contacts in Germany, Japan and Taiwan. He will focus his efforts on three committees: manufacturing and technology, audit, and finance and compensation. He spent more than 25 years at Schott, starting his career in Malaysia as a regional operations manager.
