The Zivid 2+ R-series from Zivid are cameras meant for integration into robotic arms for applications including pick-and-place and manipulation cells. The cameras use a 2D camera to capture both 2D and 3D data in the same device as well as the company’s Omni 3D structured light engine technology for targeting vertical reflections and capturing shiny and reflective items. The Zivid 2+ R-series is able to capture transparent and shiny objects in 150 ms and features a 5-MP sensor.
