ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 1 -- Applied Image Group has added photonics firm Sine Patterns LLC to its family of companies. The optics firm signed an exclusive, definitive agreement on May 17. Officials said the two companies have joined forces to create a stronger manufacturing and product development organization. Robert Lamberts, founder and managing member of Sine Patterns, will continue as head of research and development efforts.
