Detector Company Changes Its Name
May 1, 2006 — Gresham Scientific Instruments Ltd. of High Wycombe, UK, has been renamed e2v scientific instruments Ltd. The company was purchased by e2v technologies plc of Chelmsford, UK, for £5.1 million in July 2005. It supplies detectors for energy dispersive x-ray and x-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
