The Lightfield 4D from ZEISS is a lightfield-based microscopy system for volumetric high-speed imaging in applications such as neuroscience, cancer research, developmental biology, and plant science. The system can image entire 3D data sets at a set moment in time, eliminating time delays within a captured volume. Utilizing a microlens array, ZEISS Lightfield 4D generates 37 individual images simultaneously, allowing for the creation of up to 80 volume Z-stacks per second.
