The GMAX15271BSI from Gpixel is a rolling shutter CMOS image sensor designed for high-end industrial and scientific applications such as display inspection, semiconductor and PCB defect detection, pathology, and genomics, among others. Leveraging 1.5-μm backside illuminated (BSI) pixel technology, the sensor supports dual ADC modes including a 14-bit mode with 0.75 e– readout noise, a dynamic range of 73.9 dB, and frame rate of 4.8 fps and a 12-bit mode with a frame rate of 8.5 fps. The GMAX15271BSI also features 2×2 binning for both modes as well as both color and monochrome variants packaged in 161-pin ceramic μPGA packaging.
