WILMINGTON, Mass., June 24, 2008 -- Xenon Corp. has designed custom flashlamps that provide true simulated sunlight for photovoltaic cell and solar module testing. These flashlamps are designed to deliver optimum lighting and are engineered to accelerate product testing and ensure product quality in process and control applications. Xenon.gif

The Xenon lamps have an instant on/off capability that enables either single-pulse or multi-pulse applications where controlled artificial sunlight is required.

These flashlamps also remain off until testing is performed, thereby eliminating undesired heat buildup of cells and modules, while reducing energy consumption.

Available in lengths up to 6 meters, the Xenon flashlamps also come in various shapes and sizes, such as linear, spiral, bulb, serpentine and U-shape.

They are designed for applications in systems with output powers from 100 to 3000 watts, while meeting international solar simulator standards (ASTM E927-05, JIS C 8912-1989 and IEC 904-09) when used with optical fiber.
