NPU 2 from Q.ANT is a native processing unit with enhanced nonlinear processing capabilities that delivers energy efficiency and performance for AI and high-performance workloads. It uses enhanced analog units designed for nonlinear network models that reduce parameter counts and training depth while improving accuracy for image learning, classification, and physics simulation. NPU 2 performs nonlinear mathematics natively in light, which enables AI and scientific applications, including physical AI and advanced robotics, computer vision, industrial intelligence, and physics-based simulation and scientific discovery.
