The Helium Platform from Voyant Photonics is a fully solid-state frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) lidar sensor and module family built on a silicon photonics chip with integrated 2D beam steering. Based on a dense photonic focal plane array with 12,000 to more than 100,000 pixels in a compact form factor of less than 50 cm^³ and 150 g, and designed for industrial automation, robotics, drones, and mobile autonomy, Helium supports configurable optics for a tailored field of view and range with scalability enabled through semiconductor-style silicon photonics manufacturing.
