The GLIDER mid-infrared
external cavity is designed
for single-mode operation
with wide spectral tunability.
It uses Alpes Lasers
QCL or ICL broad gain
chips which can cover
up to 25% of their central
wavelength selected in
the range 3.2 microns to
13.7 microns. The system can combine up to four chips and includes
drivers and software for a complete light source.
