PCIe-NPL54 from Neousys Technology is a wide-temperature GMSL2 frame grabber card designed for integration with ×86-based edge AI platforms. The PCIe-NPL54 supports up to four automotive GMSL2 cameras at 30 frames per second and delivers reliable high-resolution video input with low power consumption, for autonomous driving, automated driver assistance systems, and outdoor robotics. The card is driver-ready for selected automotive cameras featuring high dynamic range and LED flicker mitigation. It features a fanless design and power consumption of <20 W under full camera load. The PCIe-NPL54 enables frame-level synchronization across multiple units and other sensors including lidar, ensuring precise alignment for sensor fusion. Additionally, it includes an automatic retry mechanism to recover the GMSL2 link after disconnections caused by electrostatic discharge.
