Senstar Technologies to Acquire Lidar Technology Developer Blickfeld
OTTAWA, Ontario, Dec. 15, 2025 — Senstar Technologies, a provider of physical, video, and access control security products and solutions, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Blickfeld, a lidar technology company. Blickfeld GmbH and its subsidiary Blickfeld North America will continue to exist under their current names as Senstar subsidiaries. Blickfeld CEO Matthias Müller will remain in office and lead his existing team.
Blickfeld was founded in 2017 by Müller, Rolf Wojtech, and Florian Petit and develops 3D lidar technology for applications in the security, industrial, traffic and automation sectors. The company established a dedicated security systems-focused business unit earlier this year.
