Seaton Joins Fianium
Ultrafast fiber laser manufacturer Fianium of Southampton, UK, has announced that it has hired Colin Seaton as vice president of sales and marketing. Seaton, a 25-year laser industry veteran, spent 18 years at Coherent Inc., primarily focused on business development and strategic marketing of ultrafast nonfiber lasers. “Bringing someone of Colin’s stature and experience to Fianium will add significant strength to our management team as we continue to grow our technology and business,” said Fianium CEO Anatoly Grudinin. “In his time at Coherent, he has proved his ability to successfully develop and penetrate new markets. His strategic skills will be pivotal in maintaining Fianium’s growth and driving the application of our technology within material processing and biomedical markets.”
