Although Dr. Anna Michel of Princeton University was in Beijing last summer during the Olympics, her visit definitely was not all fun and games. Michel, a postdoctoral researcher at MIRTHE (the Center for Mid-Infrared Technologies for Health and the Environment) arrived in Beijing in June 2008 as part of an international air quality monitoring project.
