Princeton Instruments of Trenton, N.J., announced that former Kodak executive Terry Guy has joined the company as business manager for the Industrial Group, which manufactures the MegaPlus line of high-resolution cameras for flat panel inspection, semiconductor and ophthalmologic applications. Guy has more than 20 years of experience serving industrial, scientific, military, commercial, and security market imaging applications. At Eastman Kodak Co.'s Image Sensor Solutions (ISS) division, he was responsible for product strategy and product planning of CCD and CMOS image sensors for industrial markets. Prior to joining ISS in 2000, he held sales and marketing positions of increasing responsibility at Kodak's Videk and Motion Analysis Systems Div. (MASD), both providers of high-performance digital cameras. Princeton Instruments also announced that Framos GmbH will serve as the group's exclusive representative in Germany and Italy and will exhibit at the Vision 2008 show in Stuttgart, Germany, Nov. 4 (Stand B19, Hall 6). Princeton Instruments makes light-detection systems for spectroscopy, imaging, x-ray, security and laser optics applications in scientific research, industrial imaging and OEM markets.
