Carl Zeiss AG of Oberkochen, Germany, and Sony Corp. of Tokyo have expanded their collaboration in the areas of camcorders and digital still cameras to include digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras. The companies recently introduced the Sony Alpha DSLR camera, which is equipped with the Zeiss ZA interchangeable lenses. The ZA lenses will be distributed exclusively through Sony.
