Science Medal Nomination Deadline Dec. 7

The National Science Foundation (NSF) announced it will accept nominations for the 2008 National Medal of Science until Dec. 7, 2007. Established by Congress in 1959, the award is presented annually by the president to individuals for outstanding contributions to knowledge in the biological, engineering, mathematical, physical or social and behavioral sciences.
