Resonetics Expands With Aduro Acquisition

Laser micromachining company Resonetics is expanding its capability in medical device production with the acquisition of California’s Aduro Laser. The heat-sensitive biomaterial nitinol is widely used in medical devices, but must be precisely micromachined with ultrashort-pulsed lasers to minimize heat transfer. Courtesy of Trumpf Group.
