Northrop Grumman’s board of directors has elected Stephen O’Bryan as corporate vice president and global business development officer, effective Feb. 6. O’Bryan succeeds David Perry, who announced his intent to retire effective March 31. Perry will continue in his role until his retirement to support O’Bryan in his transition. O’Bryan joins the company from Boston Consulting Group. From 2018 to 2019, he served as senior vice president and chief global business development officer for L3Harris Technologies. (formerly Toshiba Memory Corp.) and nonexecutive chair of the board at Autodesk. Wolfspeed is a developer of silicon carbide and gallium nitride technologies. BOZEMAN, Mont. — Cordell Maines has been appointed CEO of Quantel USA, a manufacturing site of LUMIBIRD Photonics Division. Maines most recently served as business leader for LUMIBIRD, guiding the company’s South, Central, and North American sales divisions. Cordell succeeds Steve Patterson, who announced his resignation from the company in September. Cordell’s appointment follows an extensive selection process by the company’s board.
