Lynred, a provider of infrared detectors, has appointed Hervé Bouaziz as executive president and Xavier Caillouet as CEO. Bouaziz has 30 years’ aerospace, defense, and security experience and previously served as CEO for Europrop International and held several executive positions at Safran. Moorthy currently serves as the president and CEO of Microchip Technology Inc. and is on the board for Semiconductor Industry Association. CARDIFF, U.K. — Compound semiconductor wafer products supplier IQE has appointed Jutta Meier as its CFO and to its board and Rina Pal-Goetzen as vice president of government affairs. Meier is an experienced finance executive who has held senior positions at global semiconductor companies for more than 25 years, including Intel’s Foundry and GlobalFoundries Inc. Pal-Goetzen previously served as director of global policy at the Semiconductor Industry Association.
