Light Powers DNA Nanomotor

GAINESVILLE, Fla., June 11, 2009 — A new mechanism created by chemists transforms light into motion, albeit at an extremely small scale. The team from the University of Florida built a new type of "molecular nanomotor" driven only by photons, or particles of light.
