Laser Comb Approved in Canada

BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 17 -- The HairMax LaserComb has received certification by the Canadian government as a class 2 medical device "for claims and indications to strengthen hair, prevent hair loss and stimulate regrowth of scalp hair in men and women," said its manufacturer, Lexington International. The company said the low-level laser device improves the quality and thickness of hair. In the US, the LaserComb is classified as a cosmetic device.
