Laird Technologies, a St. Louis-based supplier of components and systems for electronics and wireless products, has signed an agreement with Iteq Corp. of Taoyuan, Taiwan, under which it will have access to that company’s high-volume lamination capabilities and Asia-Pacific distribution channels. Iteq, in turn, will gain access to the US company’s T-lam thermally conductive printed circuit board materials. The arrangement will position the companies to supply products for LED-based backlight units for LCD flat panel displays.
