L-3 Communications of New York, a provider of imaging solutions and sensors, has agreed to acquire the Electro-Optical Systems business of Northrop Grumman Corp. of Los Angeles. The business will be purchased for $175 million in cash, and the acquisition is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2008.
