HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Feb. 7 -- Globecomm Systems Inc., a provider of satellite-based communications solutions, announced it has been awarded a satellite equipment infrastructure contract valued at approximately $2 million from a customer in the Indian subcontinent. The contract is to provide an Intelsat F3 satellite earth station to be used for international telephony. The estimated completion date is July 2003.
