Cubic Wins $12 Million Laser Contract

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Dec. 30 -- Cubic Corp. has won a contract valued at $12 million to supply its laser-based combat training system to the US Army. Tec-Masters Inc., of Huntsville, Ala., awarded the contract to Cubic Defense Applications under its contract with the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation. The purpose of the award is to support a Stryker brigade rotation from Fort Lewis, Wash., to the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La.
