Israeli and Jordan Eye Fiber Optic Link
TEL AVIV, Israel, Sept. 21 -- A joint Israeli-Jordanian committee has been formed to produce a formal plan in the next three months for installing a fiber-optic cable to link the two countries. In the aftermath of talks between the countries' ministers of communications, Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and Jamal Al-Sharraya, in Amman, Jordan, joint working teams were established to discuss the optic cable and arrange the division of wavelengths to be used.
