EyePop.ai, Qualcomm AI Hub Collaborate on Computer Vision Tech

SAN DIEGO, March 5, 2025 — EyePop.ai, an AI-powered vision technology company, has entered into a collaboration with Qualcomm AI Hub to make computer vision technology more accessible to developers, startups, and small and medium-sized businesses. The collaboration is intended to allow developers to build and train AI-powered vision models through a cloud-based interface, and deploy them on Windows and edge devices without machine learning expertise across industries such as retail, logistics, and healthcare.

Traditionally, deploying computer vision models has required extensive expertise in machine learning, costly resources, and lengthy timelines.

According to EyePop.ai, its Self-Service Training platform eliminates the complexities of machine learning, allowing users to build and train custom vision models in hours. Once trained, these models can be optimized and deployed directly to Windows-based environments and edge devices through access to the Qualcomm AI Hub, enabling real-time performance in diverse environments. This process reduces time-to-market and lowers barriers for businesses adopting AI-powered vision solutions.

Building on the partnership, Qualcomm AI Hub and EyePop.ai will next focus on extending their advanced computer vision capabilities to mobile devices to further broaden the reach of AI solutions for developers worldwide.

Glossary
machine vision
Machine vision, also known as computer vision or computer sight, refers to the technology that enables machines, typically computers, to interpret and understand visual information from the world, much like the human visual system. It involves the development and application of algorithms and systems that allow machines to acquire, process, analyze, and make decisions based on visual data. Key aspects of machine vision include: Image acquisition: Machine vision systems use various...
computer vision
Computer vision enables computers to interpret and make decisions based on visual data, such as images and videos. It involves the development of algorithms, techniques, and systems that enable machines to gain an understanding of the visual world, similar to how humans perceive and interpret visual information. Key aspects and tasks within computer vision include: Image recognition: Identifying and categorizing objects, scenes, or patterns within images. This involves training...
machine learning
Machine learning (ML) is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that focuses on the development of algorithms and statistical models that enable computers to improve their performance on a specific task through experience or training. Instead of being explicitly programmed to perform a task, a machine learning system learns from data and examples. The primary goal of machine learning is to develop models that can generalize patterns from data and make predictions or decisions without being...
