Crane NXT Acquires Antares Vision
WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 24, 2025 — Industrial technology Crane NXT has signed definitive agreements to acquire a "significant stake" in Antares Vision S.p.A., with the intent to take the company private. Antares Vision specializes in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of inspection and detection systems for product safety and quality control. The company also provides track and trace software solutions to prevent counterfeiting of products throughout the supply chain.
The transaction expands Crane NXT’s portfolio in the life sciences and food & beverage markets. According to Crane NXT CEO Aaron Saak, the acquisition is a strategic fit for the company and bolsters its ability to provide inspection and detection equipment and track and trace software to authenticate products.
