In New Jersey, Princeton Security Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Princeton Gamma-Tech Instruments Inc., has won an international contract with a South American synchrotron research facility for a multielement array detector system. The detector system consists of 12 elements of 80-mm2 lithium-drifted silicon x-ray sensors composed of the largest individual size crystals said to be commercially available. Princeton Security Technologies, a supplier of x-ray and gamma-ray detector and spectroscopy systems, said that the sales revenue from the large-value contract will start during the fourth quarter of 2011.
