The LidarShield from ExcelSense is a self-cleaning optical shield for lidars in mining applications. The shield uses a micro-renewable optical layer to actively reject abrasive dust, bitumen, mud, oil, and other contaminants. Maintains a clear sensor lens for a 300° azimuth field of view and full vertical field of view of the lidar. The LidarShield can be powered via 24VDC and is ruggedized for use in harsh environments.
