HOD HASHARON, Israel, Oct. 4, 2024 — Valens Semiconductor, a developer of chipsets, has developed the VA7000 and VS6320 chipsets for industrial machine vision applications.

Designed initially for automotive use, the VA7000 chipset complies with the MIPI A-PHY standard for high-performance sensor connectivity, by providing automotive-grade, high-performance connectivity with the goal of reducing the power, size, and cost of cameras. The VS6320 chipset provides a longer link distance than conventional USB-based industrial cameras while retaining all other features.

Valens has entered into collaborations with companies such as Teledyne e2v, Airy3D, FRAMOS, D3 Embedded, and Leopard Imaging for the compatibility and integration of the VA7000 and VS6320 chipsets into the companies’ products. These include software, cameras, and image sensors.
