About This Webinar
Today’s field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) have tens of TB/s access to internal memory and a direct connection between logic parts, which dramatically reduces the DRAM access requirements. As a result, FPGAs enable fast raster processing at low power consumption while reducing product cost.
Due to the FPGA development challenges, many have avoided their use. However, the rapid growth of sensor matrices and frame rates require a second look at heterogenous processing, including FPGA processing. The main challenges of developing high-performance FPGA processing are not having access to the right development tools and lengthy compilation times.
In his talk, Weintraub showcases development tools that dramatically help reduce the overall system development and compilation time using FPGAs in the processing pipeline.
