BLUE LED
Jul 1, 1998 — The LS-450 blue LED from Ocean Optics Inc. is designed for high-sensitivity emission fluorescence measurements. The device produces a pulsed spectral output at 450 nm and has an SMA connector for coupling to sampling optics. The excitation sources can be combined with sampling optics and the company's S2000 fiber optic spectrometer for compact spectrophotometric systems. The LS-450 can connect to the S2000 via an interface card for synchronization with the spectrometer's detector scan rate.
