The Aries 6504 scientific CMOS (sCMOS) camera from TUCSEN features a 2048 × 2048 array of 6.5-μm back-illuminated pixels with a peak quantum efficiency of 95%, speeds of up to 300 fps, and ultralow read noise, supporting applications that require single-photon detection, such as quantum imaging. The camera’s sensor is the GSENSE6504BSI from TUCSEN's partner Gpixel. The sensor has a measured dark current of 0.004 electrons/pixel/second at −30 °C (-22 °F).
