Dual Inverted Selective Plane Illumination Microscopy is an extremely cell-friendly method for imaging live specimens. It only illuminates the region of the sample that is being captured minimizing phototoxicity and photobleaching by ~7-10 fold. It generates 330 nm isotropic 3D images. It also provides an axial resolution of ~2x, better than others systems in the market. DISPIM applications include cell dynamics, developmental biology, and live specimen imaging.
