Optiforms Inc. has announced a universal mounting adapter for off-axis parabolic (OAP) reflectors.
The adapter fits multiple OAP sizes and provides various mounting positions, allowing Optiforms electroformed optics to be used across standard mount linear tables manufactured by other companies. It offers multiple mounting positions including perimeter grab, center bore and side bolts with a metric 4 and 8-32 threaded options. The adapter also comes with mounting hardware.
The adapter is made of machined aluminum that is black anodized with laser engraved marks and won’t wear or become unreadable. It comes in two sizes to accommodate various OAP sizes.
