The qMNL 1000 from Lasertechnik Berlin is a UV laser source for bio-reader systems and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI MS). It offers pulse energies up to 250 µJ and repetition rates up to 1000 Hz. The qMNL 1000 can be used as an alternative for nitrogen lasers and flash lamps and comes in a wavelength of 336 nm or 355 nm. With an active Q-switch, advanced pump design, and an integrated laser controller, the laser source has a long lifetime, minimal energy degradation, and high timing precision.
