The devices are intended to be mounted on the side of the touch surface, enabling new levels of design freedom and allowing for integration in a wider range of applications. zForce® optical reflective technology enables touch interaction, mid-air interaction, and object sensing. It is ideal for integration in a wide range of applications within the automotive, consumer electronics, medical, robotics, and other markets.
The sensors come in nine lengths to support interaction areas from 3 to 16 in., diagonally.
