Thermal Laser Sensors
MKS Ophir, Light & MeasurementRequest Info
Ophir Photonics Group has announced four thermal laser sensors designed for use with high-power lasers to measure high pulse energies without the need for large, water-cooled devices.
The L40(150)A and L50(150)A are general-purpose, convection/ballistic-cooled laser power/energy sensors that measure laser power from 100 mW to 150 W and laser energy from 100 mJ to 4000 J, and up to 8000 J with a pulse of 0.5 sec.
The L40(150)A-LP1 is a convection/ballistic-cooled laser sensor with a high-damage-threshold LP1 coating for continuous power and >1-ms pulse measurements. It measures laser power from 100 mW to 150W and energy from 100 mJ to 4000 J, and up to or 8000 J with a pulse of 0.5 s. The sensor has a 50-mm aperture, and spectral range of 0.25 to 2.2 μm and 2.94 μm.
The L30C-LP1-26-SH is a conduction-cooled laser sensor with a high damage threshold LP1 coating for measuring high pulse energy and intermittent power. The sensor measures up to 10 W of continuous power (100 W for 2 minutes) and energy to 2000 J, or up to 4000 J with a pulse of 0.5 s. It features a spectral response of 0.25 to 2.2 μm and a smart sensor interface.
