The ISO-Spector S3 series from Mek are 5D solder paste inspection systems for detecting solder smear and PCB contamination to verifying correct application for wave soldered SMT applications. Offering live SPC data for printing trends and distribution histograms, the series enables diagnosis of printing issues and extracts the outline of solder paste on PCBs due to a 360° ring light, while utilizing multiple projector technology to calculate solder height information. The ISO-Spector S3 series facilitates closed loop integration with stencil printers and pick and place machines, features customizable resolution options, and can accommodate PCBs up to 510 mm × 510 mm.
