The revolutionary SmartTable ADD bolt-on dampers are compact external dampers that add to virtually any optical table or even optical structure to improve the system damping performance, saving on shipping, rigging and installation efforts. With Newport’s patented intelligent Q (IQ) damping technology, SmartTable ADD actively monitors, reports and adjusts table-damping performance over a wide frequency band. A controller is used to tune the bolt-on dampers, and no computer is needed for the tuning process.
