Silicon Photodiode DetectorsMarktech Optoelectronics Inc.’s lineup of advanced silicon photodiode detectors consists of several detector series based on spectral sensitivity.

The Series 8 General Purpose devices provide 350- to 1100-nm spectral sensitivity; the Series 4 UV Enhanced devices provide 300- to 1100-nm spectral sensitivity; the Series 14 IR Enhanced Peak devices provide 350- to 1100-nm spectral sensitivity; and the Series 11 UV and IR Enhanced devices provide 250- to 1100-nm spectral sensitivity. Silicon PIN photodiodes are available in various package types such as hermetically sealed metal cans, ceramic SAW packages, pigtail metal cans, and 3-mm molded plastic through-holes. Applications include monitoring the consistency of UV light sources for curing inks, resins, adhesives, sealants, and 3D printing stereolithography materials.
