Spectral Evolution Inc. has announced the RT portable reflectance and transmittance sphere to deliver detailed measurement of forward and back scattering, along with transmittance measurement of scattering transparent or turbid samples.
Designed for vegetation research, the 6-in. sphere can be used with a spectrometer or spectroradiometer. The sphere can accommodate sample and reference beams for 9° double-beam geometry, as well as port plugs for 9° beam geometry.
The device comes with a stand and ¼-20 mount for tripod use.
